    The University of Burdwan has signed a MoU with the Botanical Survey of India. The agreement will help with the conservation of trees and wildlife on various university of Burdwan campuses like Golapbag, Krishnasayar and Ramnabagan. Most of the trees there were most planted by the maharajas of Burdwan and are more than 150 to 200 years old.
